At low levels, I would ague that the tier list should look quite a bit different. That's fine, but I don't think it's the whole picture. The tier list is very clearly based on already leveled characters. It's a personal thing, but I'm not a fan of exploiting bugs, so I don't really agree with that placement. My biggest gripe with it is the inclusion of the Ninja bug as a factor in the tier list. This is a good tier list, well written, so I will add my thoughts onto it. Hopefully it'll be irrelevant soon, but for now I think it might help shed light on the current balance of the game. Much better in group play than standalone. Because of its inability in standalone play, Guardian Warrior is taken down a whole tier because of this. Guardian Warrior get Toughness and Barricade, which increases health by 25% and doubles shield block time (as well as make any weapon able to parry.) Guardian Warrior is a great tank for group play (which would make him at least A- if standalone didn't exist), but in standalone it lacks the relative DPS in order to handle enemies that will end up just prolonging the Warrior's death. Scout Ranger is comparatively a nerfed Sniper Ranger. Scout Swiftness underperforms compared to Sniper Ranger's Hit Series-plus stealth damage and mana bonuses. Scout Ranger's Intuition, like the Fire Mage's Fire Spark, relies on RNG and makes special attacks unreliable. But otherwise, Fire Mage is a lesser Water Mage. Fire Explosion is helpful in stunning enemies, and good for burst damage. Their power comes from pure DPS-which ends up higher than the Water Mage at base, but the Water Mage outperforms the Fire Mage very quickly due to Torrent. Better in group play than standalone.įire Mage's Fire Spark is not necessarily a good point, since while helpful, relies on RNG which makes using special attacks unreliable. Best weapon is duel-wield swords, for building attack speed. Combined with all of the other abilities, Berserker Warrior has good DPS output, and good tankability at a consistent pace. Best weapon for standalone play are the bracelets, and for team play is the staff.īerserker Warriors get Berserker Rage, which increases their attack speed for every hit. Mana Shield gives great tankability, and Teleport can be used to skip entire sections of dungeons. But they still have access to good DPS as well, making them good for standalone play. Water Mages also can heal with their attacks, making them the absolute best support classes in the game. Torrent gives Water Mages very nice long range DPS. Water Mages get Torrent, which increases attack speed for every hit. Best weapon is the longsword for the special attack. It has the highest burst damage in the game, and can use stealth to avoid enemies entirely. In raw terms, Assassin Rogues get very high DPS outputs, but lack the tankability of the Warrior class and Ninja Rogue subclass. Stealth gives damage, critical strike chance, and MP regen. Better in group play than standalone.Īssassin Rogues get Way of the Shadows, which increases stealth with each special attack. Best weapon is the normal bow, since it builds combo faster than the crossbow. With the combination of Aim, Sniper Rangers get very high DPS. Because of this, most enemies fought at a range are at low health by the time they are in melee distance. Sniper Rangers get Hit Series, which increases their attack speed for each hit in a combo. Not only the highest DPS in the game, but also the tankiest class in the game-and the most agile. Because of Counter Attack, Ninja Rogue is best used with a longsword for the long lasting special attacks. There is also a bug with Elusiveness where they gain unlimited critical attacks so long as they don't use their special attack again. Ninja Rogues get Counter Attack, where they have I-frames on special attack, meaning they don't take damage. I will mention what makes them sit at the tier they do.
